This community was again saddened yesterday afternoon when the news of J. A. Wilson's death, reached the ears of our citizens. Mr. Wilson had been sick but a few days, and yesterday afternoon he suddenly became very ill and died about two o'clock, the cause of which was pleural pneumonia.

Funeral services will be held from the home at 2:30 this afternoon. We will have an obituary next week.

John A. Wilson was born in Wayne County, Illinois on August 14,1858 and died at his home in Logan, Kansas, December 22, 1915 at the age of 57.

He came with his parents to Logan Kansas in 1876 where he has since resided. He was married to Miss Mary A. Wickline, April 7, 1885. To this union was born eight children, all of whom are living and were present at the funeral. He also leaves a wife, an aged father and mother, three sisters, one brother and four grandchildren to mourn his departure. Mr. Wilson was seriously sick for only a few hours and his death came as a shock to his many relatives and friends.
