Nancy E. Paramore, daughter of John A. T. and Kate Paramore, was born August 21, 1876 in Decatur County, Indiana. She passed away January 20, 1958 at the Good Samaritan Home in St. Francis after several years of failing health.

She moved with her parents to Mitchell County, Kan., when she was two years old and later moved to Rooks County. She has resided in this area since that time.

She was united in marriage in 1901 to Frank Williams in Rooks County, Kan. They raised a family of nine children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1936, one son, George, in 1941, and one daughter, Ida Pierce, in 1947. She is survived by five sons and two daughters. They are: Harrel Paramore of Phillipsburg, Kan.; John Williams of Oakland, Calif.; Clarence Williams of Lewistown, Cal.; Phillip Williams of Twin Falls, Ida.; Roy Williams of Palco, Ks.; Mrs. Amanda Wade of Mansfield, Mo.; and Mrs. Henrietta Barber of El Dorado, Kan. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Minerva Handy of Corpus Christi, Texas; 25 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

She was a faithful wife and mother, always thinking of and helping others. She will be missed by her family and her many friends.

Services were held from the First Christian Church in Logan on January 23 with A.J. Ives officiating. Music was furnished by Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Atkinson with Mrs. Lloyd Reese, organist. Casketbearers were Ralph Donahey, Myron Veh, Max Noel, Carl Fitzhugh, George Ruff and Harley Sammons.
