"William's Texas Death Certificate states his birthday as 20 Nov 1864 in Helena, Arkansas. He has a sister who is one year older born in 1863 and younger one born in 1867. Most of the census records give his year as 1865 since he is born in November. The informant for the data is "Big Spring State Hospital" where he lived the last 9 months of his life. 1864 seems to be a better fit over all. (The year 1863 creates some confusion since his sister Jessie is born late in 1863 and they're not twins.)"
