John Seth Chase, 84, of 912 Turon, resident of Beaumont for 43 years, died in his home at 10:40 a.m. Thursday. Funeral services, under direction of Carroll-Wallace funeral home, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony's Catholic church. Burial will be in Magnolia cemetery. Mr. Chase was a retired engineer and a member of the Knights of Columbus lodge. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Paul Casbergue of Freeport, a son, Clifford C. Chase of Parsons, Kansas; and a brother, Delbert Chase of Winfield, Kansas.
