Carrie G. Callahan, 88, a native of Labadieville and a resident of Schriever, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Schriever. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Harold J. Callahan Jr. and wife, Cheryl; daughters, Sandra Callahan Picou and husband, Richard, and Janice Callahan LeBoeuf and husband, Kenneth; brother, Carroll Gros Sr.; sister, Vivian Albarado; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold J. Callahan Sr.; parents, Emile Gros Jr. and Urselle Boudreaux Gros; daughter, Annette U. Callahan; brothers, Elvin Gros and Herman Gros Sr.; and sisters, Julia Ponvelle, Lucy Guidry, and Shirley Robertson.
