Mr. Cecil Jackson Patterson, age 86, husband of Hazel Gault Patterson of 241 North Main Street,
Jonesville, SC, passed away Sunday afternoon, December 9, 2012 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Mr. Patterson Was born in Union County, October 5, 1926, a son of the late Jackson Patterson and Winnie Millwood Patterson. He was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church and was retired from Union Automotive.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Jean Deaton and husband Roger of Columbia; a granddaughter, Meredith Boehme and husband John also of Columbia; two sisters, Elaine Lawson and husband Robert of Pacolet, and Bevia Lipsey and husband William of Jonesville; a brother, Charles Patterson and wife Shirley of Pacolet and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Donna Eidson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Wesley Lawson, Ronnie Eaves, Mike Henson, Ernest Millwood, Todd Palmer, and Dennis Frost. Mr. Patterson's Sunday School Class at Wesley Chapel will form the honorary escort.

The family will receive friends 6:00 until 8:00 Tuesday evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home, 310 West South Street, Union, SC
