Elizabeth Purcell Keyser of Lottsburg, died April 9, 2000.
She was a devoted wife and mother, the widow of James Keyser. She was a native of Northumberland County, Virginia and a member of Coan Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher and choir member for many years. She was a member of Betty Lewis Chapter #107, Kinsale Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Wayne and Valerie M. Keyser of Callao; a daughter, Judy Lynn Keyser of Davis, California; a daughter and son-in-law Barbara Keyser and Thomas Paul Brown of Watkinsville, Georgia; four grandchildren, Victoria Keyser, Ian Keyser, Tyler Keyser, and Ethan Brown; two sisters, Idell Purcell and Elaine Eichler; two brothers, J. Paul Purcell and William Purcell.

Funeral services were April 2, with Dr. Barbara M. Filling officiating. Interment was in Coan Baptist Church cemetery, Heathsville.
Pallbearers were Hayden Rice, Jimmy Jewell, Chrles Marvin Swann, W.H. Shirley, Wellington Nash and Jeffrey Eichler.
