James Clifford Bosley

James Clifford Bosley, 63, of Baltimore, formerly of Hagans, died March 16, 2000, at home, after a long illness.

He was born Jan. 16, 1937, at Arnettsville, son of Helen "Sally" Flowers Bosley, of Morgantown, and the late James Lawson Bosley.

He and his wife, Joyce, owned and operated Bosley Electric, in Baltimore, for 25 years. He was a member of Veterans Affairs and was a social member of VFW Post 521. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed playing the guitar and singing.

He is also survived by his wife of 41 years, Joyce M. Briggs Bosley; two sisters and spouses, Healen A. Bosley Rich and Donald Pratt, and Kay L. Bosley and Vincent C. Sadilek, all of Joliet, Ill.; a brother and spouse, Fred A. and Leanna Bosley, of Morgantown; an uncle, Max Flowers, of Morgantown; an aunt, Elsie Friend, of Uniontown, Pa.; his mother-in-law, Anna E. Frye, of Morgantown; and eight nieces, two nephews, 15 great-nephews and six great-nieces, all of Morgantown.

He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Darlene R. Bosley; maternal grandparents, Chester and Phoebe Flowers; and paternal grandparents, Grover C. and Katherine A. Bosley.

After services in Catonsville, Md., friends may call at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday. Service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 21, with the Rev. Stacy L. Groscup officiating. Burial will be in Hagans Cemetery.
