Phyllis Baniak Kostick

Phyllis M. Baniak Kostick, 57, of 473 W. Piedmont St., Keyser, died Saturday, March 18, 2000, at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 4, 1942, in Star City, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary E. Kalmar Baniak.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of the Assumption, Keyser.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Peter W. Kostick Sr.; two sons and spouses, Peter W. Jr. and Heather Kostick, of Keyser, and Christopher T. and Karen Kostick, of Pasadena, Md.; four brothers and spouses, Joseph and Mary Baniak, of Morgantown, Edward and Helen Baniak, of Beacon, N.Y., Andrew and Vivian Baniak, of Englewood, Calif., and Henry and Darlene Baniak, of Reedsville; four sisters and spouses, Margaret Deem and Joan Nabors, both of Morgantown, Mary Ann and Michael Ruppert, of Knoxville, Tenn., and Carmella and Robert Urick, of LaVale, Md.; and six grandchildren, Amy House, Daniel "Ryan" Kostick, Eden Kostick, Logan Kostick, Mason Kostick and Rachel Kostick.

Friends may call at Smith Funeral Home, Keyser, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday with a Christian Wake service at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of the Assumption will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, with the Rev. Ivan M. Lebar as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery, Keyser. Donations: American Diabetes Association, WV Affiliate, 1221-A Ohio Ave., Dunbar, WV 25064.
