FIRE VICTIM DIES THIS MORNING AT LOCAL HOSPITAL

RITES THURSDAY FOR WALTER WARREN


James Walter warren,57, passed away at 6:30 o'clock this morning at a local hospital as the results of burns received in a fire Sunday which destroyed the home of Leroy Hall,a nephew, in the Lonesome bend community.
A native of Georgia, Warren had lived in Etowah County for the past five years making his home with his nephew on the Gadsden route. He was a farmer by occupation.
Survivors are two nephews Leroy A. Hall and James O. Hall, Anniston, and one neice Mrs. I Goodman, Anniston.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11 am at the Hokes Bluff Methodist Church with the Rev. S.E. Paulk officiating. Burial will be in Hebron Cemetery in Cherokee County near Centre.
Collier Bulter Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
