ZANESVILLE -- Helen Louise (Adams) Mayle, 87 ,of Zanesville, died at 8:05 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005, at Willow Haven Nursing Home following a lengthy illness.
She was born on Friday, February 22, 1918, in Cutler, Ohio, the daughter of Bertrum and Edith (Cunningham) Adams. She was married to Sidney Mayle on Thursday, May 2, 1940. She was a member of Union Tabernacle Church and a homemaker.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Myron Mayle of Fayetteville, N.C.; two sisters, Alice Sharrer and Gladys Newman, both of Zanesville; two grandchildren, Christopher and Matthew Mayle; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death in addition to her parents, by infant twin children; one brother, Howard Adams ; two sisters, Gladean Male and Myrtle Pansler.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday Feb. 28, at the Union Taberbacle Church, 2425 Hartford Ave., Zanesville, and one hour prior to service time on Tuesday at the church.
Service will be held at Union Tabernacle Church on Tuesday, March 1, 2005, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Terry D. Newman officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, in Zanesville.
