Mrs. James Lennon died yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock at her home, 519 Walnut street. She had been in poor health for a number of years and for some time had suffered from anaemia.

Mrs. Lennon was 74 years of age. She was born in Ireland and was married in Green Bay to James Lennon some time after her arrival in this country. The wedding took place in the year 1855, and five years ago, in 1905, Mr. and Mrs. Lennon, in the midst of their children and grandchildren, observed the golden anniversary of their marriage. Mrs. Lennon's maiden name was Miss Katherine Bellew.

Thirty-seven years ago Mr. and Mrs. Lennon came to Appleton and made this city their continuous residence since that year.

The deceased leaves, besides her husband, ten children, one of the eleven born to her having preceded her in death. The surviving children are: Mrs. D.F. Rourke, of Minneapolis, Minn.; Mrs. M. Quinn, of Chicago; Mrs. John Hayes, of this city; the Misses Catherine and Elizabeth Lennon, of St. Paul; Miss Clara Lennon, Appleton; George E. Lennon, James Lennon and William Lennon, St. Paul; and Frank Lennon, of this city. Mrs. Lennon leaves fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Saturday morning from St. Mary's church. The time of the service has not yet been definitely determined. Interment will be made in St. Mary's cemetery. Mrs. Lennon was a faithful member of the Sacred Heart society of St. Mary's church.
