She was born in Pawhuska, Oklahoma April 19, 1911 to Albert H. and Alma N. Wilson. Her growing up years was spent in Pittsburg, Kansas. At the age of 16 the family moved to Rocky Ford, Colorado.
As a young girl she would ride horseback from the family home in Timpas, Colorado to deliver eggs to the Hawley store out on highway 71.
She was married to Dodd Tremaine, Sr. and to this union was born 5 children. Four of whom survive Mildred. Joanne Beckhart Washington, Dodd Tremaine ll of Washington, Albert James of Kansas and Patricia of Colorado. Many years after Dodd Sr. passed away she was married to Joe Frazier who also is deceased.
She worked for many years as a cook and baker for the Rocky Ford school district from which she retired. After retiring from the school district she was a cook for many years at frontier Boys Ranch in Divide.
She is survived by 4 children, 16 grandchildren, 34 great grand children and 12 great great grandchildren and numerous step grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service on Friday, December 14, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Valley View Cemetery in Rocky Ford, CO.
