Lt. Colonel U.S. Army, {0-64451}, Vietnam War-LtCol. Ingrassia died from a non-hostile incident when his Heliocopter crashed on 8-28-1968 while serving as a Petroleum Products Supply Officer with the HHD of the Army Supply Command in Saigon, 1st Logistical Command. LTC. Ingrassia started his tour of Vietnam on November 10, 1967. The Colonel had 22 years of service.

He is the son of Mr. Nunzio & Mrs. Rose Ingrassia of 2514 Spring Brook Avenue, Rockford, Illinois, and the husband of Mrs. Anna C. Ingrassia of 1750 Monticello Avenue, Petersburg Virginia, and is a 1946 graduate of the Rockford School System, and enlisted in the Army after High School.

Awards: National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with One Service Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Korean Service Medal with Two Service Stars, United Nations Service Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal.
