Son of Harlan L. Tweed and Connie (Youngkin) Tweed Olson
Died in 1973. He was the 4th child of 6.
Ricke was picking Pine cones to sell for Christmas wreaths. They could make money for a company that made wreaths here in town. He had climbed a pine tree where an high power electrical wire had grown through a branch. He died instantly.
He had just started school in Hill City. He was a student at Hill City High School. He was a Freshman (9th grade). He loved track and baseball. Had made many new friends since moving to town. He was a lovable, ambitious and kind person. Always willing to help anyone out. Full of fun. Loved swimming at the beach here in town with his buddies.
The summer of 1973 the family had moved to Hill City, from Wayzeta, Mn
