Dora was born in the town of Loitz, Germany in 1848 to parents Carl & Dorothea Trapp.

They immigrated in the year 1857 to Canada and settled in Waterloo County in the Province of Ontario.

She was entered in the 1861, 1871, 1881, 1891, 1901 and 1911 census of Waterloo Town.

Dora married George Peppler on Nov. 25, 1866 in Waterloo County.

She gave George 9 known children;
