Funeral services for Betty Ann Curry, 72, of West Monroe, will be held, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Scott Holder and Rev. Wayne Flowers officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Curry passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2011. She had a love of God and church, and was devoted to her family, children and grandchildren. Mrs. Curry enjoyed singing, baking, serving others, and was an avid sports fan of Friday Night Football, LSU, and New Orleans Saints. She was a devoted caregiver to her mother and a devoted friend to all. She never met a stranger.

Mrs. Curry was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald D. Curry; father, John W. Flowers; brother, Charles Wesley Flowers; father-in-law, Guy Curry; mother-in-law, Nell H. Curry; and sister-in-law, Peggy Flowers.

Survivors include her daughters, Pam Curry Jungina and Lisa Curry; son, Jeff Curry; mother, Hazel Flowers; brother, Donald Flowers; sister, Virginia Frost; brother-in-law, Harold Curry; sister-in-law, Carolyn Flowers; three grandchildren, Nick Jungina, Josh Jungina, and Alexandra Jungina; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Mark Walker, Hank Smith, Sean Walker, Brandon Walker, Nick Jungina, Josh Jungina, Brian Eskew, and Jamie Traweek.

Honorary pallbearers will be Harold B. Curry and Donald Flowers.
