Michael Curran Died of Heart Failure

At the hour of 10 o'clock on Saturday evening, occurred the death of death of Michael Curran, West Main. He had been in poor health for several months and every thing that medical skill could suggest was done for him but he was beyond medical skill and it was only a question of prolonging his life for a time he suffered from a leakage of the heart which was the cause of death.

Mr. Curran was a resident of Plymouth township for many years and was held in the highest esteem by all who had the pleasure of his acquaintance. When in good health he was widely known on account of size. He weighed over three hundred pounds, but during his illness he fell away considerably in weight. He was a man of temperate habits, a loving father and a kind neighbor.

A wife and the following children survive him: They are Patrick, John, Michael, Bridget, James, Annie, Mrs. W. McLaughlin, Catherine and Margaret at home; two brothers James Curran of Jersey City, N. J. and Thomas Curran in Ireland; also one sister Mrs. John Cawley of Pringle Hill, Kingston township. The funeral will take place to-morrow, with services at St. Vincent's Church at 3. The funeral procession will move from the house shortly after 2. Interment will be in St. Vincent's cemetery.
