            Philip Barrett Dead
    As briefly noted in yesterday's paper, Philip Barrett, aged 55, of State street, died Sunday night in Mercy Hospital of pneumonia, after a few days' illness. He is survived by the following children: Mrs. Martin Carey, Mrs. Thomas Saxton, Patrick, Thomas, Martin, James, Joseph, Mary and Alice, and one sister, Mrs. John Dugan. He was president of Local 870, U. M. W. of A., of No. 3 D. & H. colliery for several years; a member of the Holy Name Society, St. Vincent's Total Abstinence Society, Fire Co. No. 1 of Larksville, and Division No. 8, Ancient Order of Hibernians, and was a citizen whose upright life endeared him to his fellowmen. The funeral will be held Wednesday morning with requiem mass at St. Vincent's Church at 9:30 o'clock. Interment will be in St. Vincent's Cemetery.
