Ralph was a professional photographer and former owner of Ralph Pyle Photography. He was an Army veteran of World War Two and the Korean War.
He graduated from New Madison (Ohio) High School. He was a member and past President of the Richmond Lion's Club, and past President of the Richmond Area Chamber of Commerce.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years Phyllis Jean Pyle, his son Greg (Jewell) Pyle of Richmond, three grandchildren Joshua R. Pyle, Caroline Pyle, and Adam R. (Suzanne) Lee, two great grandchildren, one brother Jim (Shirley) Pyle of Richmond, one sister Jeanie (Gene) Davis of Eaton, Ohio, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother Harold "Pat" Pyle.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery with military rites. There will be no public calling. Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
