DEAN, Hilda Seay, 85, of Richmond, passed away Friday, December 7, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Douglas Dean Sr. She is survived by her son, Wilbert Douglas Dean Jr. (Connie); daughter, Donna Hart (Randy); grandchildren, Casey Shinault, Randy Hart III, Jaime Gantz (Terry), Crystal Newton (Scott), Douglas D. Hart (Kimberly); great-grandchildren, Tyler, Adam, Katie, Dominic, Savanna, Jacob and Blake. Mrs. Dean was a retired employee of Reynolds Metal Co. and Home Beneficial Insurance Co. She was a longtime member of Mechanicsville Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 11, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 12, at Washington Memorial Park. Interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Douglas Dean Hart in his fight for sight. Please contact family for more information.
