OBIT: Elisha Davis an aged and highly respected citizen died near Prospect, on Tuesday Feb. 24th. He was 84 years of age and leaves three sons - Mr. George A. Davis of Pylesville; William J. and Samuel Davis, of Prospect; also two daughters, Mrs. Wm. A. Neeper of Mill Green and Mrs. McConkey widow of James McConkey. The funeral took place on Thursday, the services and interment being at Slateville Presbyterian church, Rev. Mr. Stewart officiating.
