Final rites are set for 3 p.m. Monday in McGinnis & Wilhelm cahpel for Charls C. Thompson, who died of a heart attack at his home, 1566 S.E. Spokane street, Thrsday.

Mr. Thompson lived in Portland 40 years, 35 of which he worked as operator of Portland Traction company until retirement last year. He was a member of P.E.P. 20-year club.

He was born in Missouri, March 22, 1884.

Surviving are the widow, Emma E.; daughter, Mrs. Robert Wheeler, Oswego; son, Paul Cole, Portland; sister, Mrs. Hugh Atwell, and one grandchild.
