Henry G. Rixton
Henry G. Rixton, for many years a resident of Barryville, died at 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 6th, after a long illness. He was 57 years of age.
Deceased was born in Barryville, and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Rixton. On May 15th, 1903, he was united in marriage with Miss Harriet Metzger, of Yulan. He was a member of Callicoon Lodge F. and A. M. of Jeffersonville, and Canope Tribe L.O.R.M. of Barryville.
The surviving relatives are his wife and one daughter Mildred, at home; three brothers William Rixton of Port Jervis; Herman J. Rixton of Barryville; Joseph Rixton of Brooklyn; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Nemire, of Kingston; Mrs. Carrie Lasser, of Callicoon; and Mrs. Anna Steel of Barryville.
The funeral was held this afternoon at two o'clock in the chapel of the Terwilliger-Woolsey Company, 41 Front Street, where the services were conducted by the Rev. Uriah Symonds. The body will be taken on Erie train 17 at 9:18 on Tuesday morning to Barryville for interment in Montoza Cemetery.

The funeral was held Monday afternoon at two o'clock. The body was taken Tuesday morning to Barryville for interment in Montoza cemetery.

Henry G. Rixton, 57, a native of Barryville died May 6, 1922. The funeral was held Monday at Port Jervis. Rev. Syfonds officiating. Interment was made at Barryville. Mr. Rixton is survived by his wife who was Miss Harriet Metzger whom he married in 1903.
Other survivors are one daughter, Mildred, at home; three brothers, William of Port Jervis; Herman of Barryville; Joseph of Brooklyn; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Niermeyer of Kingston; Mrs. Carrie Lasser of Callicoon; and Mrs. Anna Steel of Barryville.
Mr. Rixton was a member of the Jeffersonville Masonic lodge and of the Barryville Tribe of Red Men.
