William Henry 'Bill' Wacker, 53, lifelong Guymon resident passed away Friday evening, August 30th, 2002 at his home in Guymon. The son of Dorothy Lucille (Wray) and Henry William Wacker, he was born August 4, 1949 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was united in marriage to Carol Sapp on
November 20, 1982. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and was an active and generous volunteer, benefiting many organizations in the area. Bill was active in racing and was an avid auto sports fan. Survivors include his wife, Carol Wacker; daughter, Amber Wacker of Denver, Colorado; son, Chris Wacker and his fiance', Paige of Guymon; his mother, Mrs. Dorothy Wacker of Guymon; sister, Ginger Wacker of Copperas Cove, Texas; and two granddaughters, Mackinzie Wacker and Harleigh Wacker. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Wacker, who passed away September 9, 1988. Memorial services will be Tuesday afternoon, September 3 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jim Jacobson, pastor officiating. Private family graveside services will be in Elmhurst Cemetery under the direction of Henson-Novak Funeral Directors of Guymon. A Bill Wacker memorial has been established for the Presbyterian Church, c/o Henson-Novak Funeral Home, Box 1306, Guymon, OK 73942.
