MRS. J. F. GRAVES YIELDS TO DEATH

WIFE OF PLANING MILL OPERATOR WILL BE HELD AT 3 O'CLOCK
THIS AFTERNOON

Mrs. Lonie Bishop Graves, lifelong resident of Greenville County and for many years a resident of this city, the family home being at 627 West Washington Street, died at a local hospital at an early hour yesterday morning following a long period of declining health, though she had been seriously ill for less than a week. Mrs. Graves was the wife of J.F. Graves, Proprietor of the Graves Planing Mill, of this city, and was 58 years of age. She was a daughter of the late Thomas F. and Nancy (Moon) Bishop.

Mrs. Graves was a member of Central Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband; by one son, J.H. Graves of this city; and by two daughters, Miss Maudie Graves and Miss Janie Belle Graves, both of this city. One sister, Mrs. Vettie B. Tinsley of Ware Shoals, and one half-sister, Miss Ola Bishop of Clinton, also survive her.

Funeral services, conducted by Dr. C. Frank Pittman and the Rev. J.G. Wood, will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Mackey Mortuary. Interment will be in the family plot in Springwood Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be B.B. Smith, J.F. Welborn, Ansel Alewine, Guy B. Foster, C.M. Baker and C.W. Garrison.

Until the hour of the service, the body is at the home.
