Donna was born on Aug. 9, 1952, in Oakland, Calif., she was the daughter of the late Donald and Hazel Rice. Donna moved from California in 2002, to Joplin, Mo. She worked as a Radiology Technician for several years in Chicago before becoming disabled.
Survivors include her son, Michael Adams, of Bowie, Texas; her daughter, Heather Shipp, of Runaway Bay, Texas; four sisters, Beverly Shockley, of Fontana, Calif., Shirley Crain, of Ft. Smith, Ark., Betty Payne, of Highland Village, Texas, and Deborah Rice-Shuey, of Fayetteville, Ark; and two grandchildren.
Graveside committal of ashes 2 p.m. Wednesday in Lake Cemetery, Lamar, Mo.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
