Jerry Wayne Almond, 64, of Ozark died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, in Fort Smith.
He was born March 18, 1948, in Altus.

He was retired from the Arkansas State Highway Department and was a member of Mulberry Assembly of God.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Shaffer Funeral Home with burial at Cecil Cemetery in Cecil.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon; a daughter, Denise Smither of Ozark; two sons, James Blackwell of Oklahoma and David Blackwell of Lavaca; a sister, Carolyn Kelly of Kibler; a brother, J.D. Almond of Fort Smith; and nine grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Kelly, Corey Malaska, Dillin Hill, Levi Smither and Robert and Kevin Casteel.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Mulberry class of 1966.
