Mrs. Wertin was a retired bookkeeper.
She was born Oct. 29, 1918, in Springfield to Oscar and Lydia Yagow Lenz. She married Matthew Wertin on Jan. 4, 1942, in Lincoln.
She is survived by her husband, of Lincoln, and one daughter, Jan (and Roby) Parks of Springfield.
A son preceded her in death.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln and the Lincoln Woman's Club.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
