McNeal Rites Held Today
Funeral services for Theodore McNeal, 77, beloved and well-known chesapeake and Ohio Railway Co employe, who died Wednesday afternoon at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Cora Abrams, 1328 Carter Avenue, after an illness of two years were conducted at the daughter's residence at 2:30 o'clcok this afternoon. Rev. Garis T. Long, pastor of the First Baptist Church, assisted by the Rev. Joseph S. Faulconer, pastor of the First Christian Church, officiated. Burial was made in the Dixon Cemetery. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. kathleen Riley McNeal; two sons, Harry and William McNeal, both of Ashland; three daughters, Mrs. Abrams and Mrs. William Mokas, both of Ashland, and Mrs. Charles Sparling, Deering, Ohio; and one brother, Marion McNeal, Oldtown, Ky. Seventeen grandchildren and four great grandchildren also are bereaved.

Death Claims Theo. McNeal
Theodore McNeal, 77, well known retired Chesapeake and Ohio Railway Co. employe, died yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Cora Abrams, 1328 Carter Avenue, following an illness of two years. Mr. McNeal was born July 121, 1865, in Greenup County, Ky., a son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas McNeal. He was employed by the railroad company as a car inspector and following his retirement moved from Ashland to Deering, Ohio. He returned to Ashland two months ago. Mr. McNeal was a member of the First Christian Church. The body is at the John Steen Funeral Home and will be removed to the Abrams residence at six o'clock this evening. Funeral services will be conducted at the residence at 2:30 pm, Friday, with the Rev. Garis T. Long, pastor of the First Baptist Church, assisted by Rev. J.S. Faulconer, pastor of the First Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Dixon Cemetery. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Kathleen Riley McNeal; two sons, Harry and William McNeal, both of Ashland; three daughters, Mrs. Abrams and Mrs. William Mokas, both of Ashland, and Mrs. Charles Sparling, Deering, Ohio; and one brother, Marion McNeal, Oldtown, Ky.
