"ROSSVILLE - Robert J. Dunk, 62, died at 2:50 AM Wednesday, Aug. 11, 1999, in Lafayette Home Hospital. He had been suffering from cancer for a year and hospitalized for a week. The son of the late Ray and Florence Sutton Dunk, he was born July 19, 1937, near Moran in Clinton County. He lived there for 25 years, moving to Rossville 15 years ago. His marriage was to Marilyn Jane Butler on Oct. 11, 1957, in Frankfort; she survives.
Mr. Dunk graduated from Rossville High School in 1956. He was employed at ADM in Frankfort for 33 years, retiring in May 1992. He had worked in the custodial department for the Rossville School Corp. since 1992. He was a member of the Frankfort Antique Tractor Club.
Surviving with his wife are two sons, Jeffery L. Dunk of rural Frankfort and Phillip R. Dunk of rural Rossville; three brothers, William Dunk of rural Rossville, Eldon Dunk of rural Frankfort, and Wayne Dunk of rural Mulberry; two sisters, Ruth (Mrs. Richard) Shoup of rural Michigantown and Rosemary Gregory of rural Frankfort; and one grandson. He was predeceased by two sisters, Pauline Cartmill and Jeanette Clark.
