Harry J. Bruner
KISMET- Harry J. Bruner, 92, died April 17, 1994, at the Lone Tree Retirement Center, Meade.
He was born May 1, 1901, in Barber County, the son of John D. and Lydia B. Ormiston Bruner. A longtime Kismet area resident, he was a farmer, retiring in 1990.
On July 1, 1925, he married Nelson M. Craig at Dodge City. She died Nov. 21, 1982. He married JoAnn Spangler Sept. 21, 1987, at Kismet. She died Jan. 5, 1990.
Survivors include; two sons, I.W., Kismet, and John H. Rogers, Ark., two daughters, Joyce Mancell, Kismet, and Dorothy Oglesbey, Springfield, Mo., a brother, John J., Kismet; a sister, Opal Handy, Kismet; 10 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. at Miller Chapel, Liberal, with the Rev. Charles Brisendine presiding. Burial will be in the Kismet Cemetery.
