Mrs. JW Crabb Dies Last Thursday

Mrs. Elizabeth Hathcock died at her home near Mt.Nebo last Thursday, following an illness of a few days. Mrs. Crabb was the widow of the late James Walter Crabb, who died on the same date three years ago. She had been a resident of this county for many years and was one of the finest women of the community. She was loved by each each and every one who knew her. She was the ideal wife and mother, who always looked after her home and family.

She was a general favorite in the neighborhood and was always ready to extend a helping hand to those who were in need. She was a faithful member of the Methodist Church and always did her part to advance its cause/ when she could. No one will be more greatly missed than she. She would have reached her 84th birthday on November 4th.

She is survived by her eight-sons, Will W., Dr. J. V., Lum E., J. Prentiss, Houston, R. C. and Oscar and two daughters, Mrs. Lula Jones of New Site and Mrs. Lipe who lives in Texas and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services were held at Siloam on Friday. She was buried in the Church Cemetery.
