Francis E. Geiger Killed When Car Runs Into Train
BRILLION—Francis F. Geiger, 22, of Rt. 1 died early Thursday morning of injuries sustained Wednesday night when his car crashed into the side of a switch train at a grade crossing near the city limits.
George _(underinked)_was en route to the city from the farm home to pick up his mother, Mrs. Mary F. Geiger, at her place of employment about 10:50 o'clock when his car smashed into a North Western Road line freight.

Geiger had been home since last fall after serving with the Armed Forces and was employed in the maintenance department of Brillion Iron Works Inc. His mother was widowed about 20 years ago when her husband Frank was killed in a gravel
truck accident at a county trunk intersection just north of Brillion.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday at Wieting Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Raymond Schauer officiating. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery at Kasson.
Native of Maple Grove
Geiger was born May 25, 1935, in the Town of Maple Grove, son of the late Frank and Mary Dvorachek Geiger. He spent his entire life in the Brillion area except the period between September, 1955, and September 1957 when he served in the U.S. Army. He was a graduate of St. Mary Grade School, and was graduated from Brillion High School in 1953. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of the church and the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin.
Survivors include his mother, three brothers, (private); two sisters, (private); grandmother, Mrs. Francis Dvorachek of Rt. 2, Brillion, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Saturday where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. and again at 8 p.m. Sunday. The Rosary will also be recited at the church at 7 p.m. Sunday.
