BENJAMIN BANGE PASSES AWAY AFTER LONG ILLNESS
Old Resident Dies
Funeral Services Will Be Held Monday Morning.

Benjamin Bange, a long time resident of Edwardsville, passed away at 9:30 o'clock today after an illness of seven months. His death was due to a growth in the stomach .
Mr. Bange was born on a farm near Hamel in 1869 and was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Bange. As a boy he attended the country school and spent his younger life on his father's farm. He was married in 1897 to Miss Elizabeth Wieneke. Eight children were born to the union all of whom are living. Eighteen years ago they moved to the farm on the Carpenter road and have resided there since. At the time of his death he was 51 years, 11 months and 5 days old.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Bange, and eight children; William, Agnes, Rosalia, Alvin, Leona, Benjamin, Raymond, and Irene. He is also survived by one brother, Henry Bange of this city. His two sisters preceded him in death. The funeral will be held Monday morning at 9 o'clock at the St. Boniface Catholic Church, Rev. E. J. Eckhard, officiating. Interment will be in the Catholic Cemetery.
Mr. Bange spent all of his life in this vicinity. He was a good citizen was highly respected by all who knew him. His death was the end of a very useful life and he will be greatly missed by his friends and acquaintances.

Many Attend Funeral of Benj. Bange, Monday

Funeral services were conducted Monday morning at 9 o'clock for Benjamin Bange well known resident, Rev. E. J. Eckhard officiating. Many friends and acquaintances of the family were present for the last rites. The pallbearers were, Joseph Hogan, William Walsh, Conrad Hueter, Charles Meek, Edward Carroll, and J. C. Kellermann. Burial was made at St. Boniface's Cemetery.
Those who attended from elsewhere were: Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Bloemeke, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Collins, Mrs. Henry Juergens, Mrs. Tony Berene, Mrs. Fred Sido of St. Louis, Mrs. Anna Steele of Mt. Olive, Wilbur Bange, Aurthur Kniser, and Louis Mans of Sublette, Ill.
