Norma Koch, 82, Lincoln, died Monday (12/27/04). Born on July 3, 1922, to William H. and Lydia (Becker) Rottman. She and Junius Koch married on June 21, 1945, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Otoe. She was a housewife and member of the VFW Auxiliary and the Lutheran Church Women at St. John's Lutheran Church. Norma enjoyed being a volunteer at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Lincoln.

Survivors: husband, Junius Koch of Lincoln; children, spouses, Sharyl and Dale Friesen of DeWitt, Daryl and Karen Koch of Mesa, Ariz., Denver and Linda Koch of Murdock, Pamela and Frank Kucirek of Omaha, Lyle Koch of Lincoln, Bradley and Mary Koch of Crete; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, Reva and Maynard Hillman, Dennis and Betty Koch and Dale Koch. Preceded in death by father, William H. Rottman; mother, Lydia Rottman Sporhase; and brothers Donald and Frederick Rottman.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday, St. John's Lutheran Church, Otoe. The Rev. Stanley Floth and lay minister Lynette Jansen. Otoe City Cemetery. Pallbearers: Brian Friesen, Pat Maly, Kris Kucirek, Matt Rueschhoff, Bill Hoesche, Jeremy Koch. Honorary pallbearers: Scott Friesen, Mike Friesen, Matt Friesen, Dan Koch, Travis Ahl.
