Anna Mae Setter, 81, of Colfax passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2004, at her home.

Anna Mae was born on March 1, 1923, in Duncombe, Iowa, to Willy and Emma (Valvick) Lande. She married William Setter on August 11, 1945, in Menomonie. Anna and William farmed in the Knapp area for 50 years. She was a member the Colfax Senior Center and the Colfax Lutheran Church and the Charity circle. She taught Sunday school in Menomonie for several years and was also a 4-H leader.

Anna is survived by daughter, Jean (James) Kuhn of Waverly, Minn.; brothers, Willis (Helen) Lande of Menomonie and Joseph (Nell) Lande of McKinney, Texas; sisters, Delight Olson of St. Cloud, Minn., and Ruth (Gary) Furman of Princeton, Minn.; sister-in-law, Glenny Lande of Knapp; and daughter-in-law, Marion Setter of Cumberland.

Anna Mae is preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, Douglas and Gregory Setter; brother, Thomas Lande; sister, Esther and her husband, Gordon; granddaughter, Sara Kuhn; and brother-in-law, Orlan Olson.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, January 1, 2005, at 1 p.m. at Colfax Lutheran Church in Colfax with Pastor Les Walck officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Colfax.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, December 31, 2004, at the Schriver’s Colfax Funeral Chapel, Colfax, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
