She was born April 11, 1922, in Cassville, W.Va.
Mrs. Pierce was a Baptist and a member of the former Lady Taylor Rebekah Lodge in Taylortown.
Surviving are three children, Mrs. Rick (Wilma) Richie and Ronnie Pierce, both of Taylortown, and Pat Lemasters of Cassville, W.Va.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Deceased are her loving husband of 55 years, John W. Pierce, on September 1, 2000; her mother, Maude Mae Collins and her stepfather, Clay Wright; three brothers, Audrey, Gene and Dick; and an infant son.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and until 12:30 p.m., the hour of service, Friday in the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion, with Rev. Fred W. Tomlinson officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Taylortown.
