GEISLER, Catherine Age 91 of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Golden Years Nursing Center. She was born on December 14, 1920 in Franklin, KY, the daughter of the late Hamp and Theo (Young) Pate. On December 31, 1937 in Covington, KY, Catherine married her husband of over 62 years, Carl F. Geisler, and he preceded her in death on November 25, 2000. She had previously worked as a Nurse's Aide at Fort Hamilton Hospital, where she met her husband, then at Pillsbury before becoming a full-time housewife.
Catherine is survived by her two daughters, Faye (Richard) Bitler and Joyce (Ellis "Buck") Buchanan; four grandchildren, Roger (Brenda) Geisler, Cathy (Owen) Murry, Cindy (Andrew) Pierce and Missy (Phil) Sackenheim; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Davidson; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brothers, Wilmer, Harold and William Pate.
