He was born Feb. 13, 1926, in the Watalula community, north of Ozark.
He was a retired mechanic for Dixie Cup Corp., member of Freedom Free Will Baptist Church and Navy veteran of World War II.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ocker Funeral Home Chapel in Alma with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery with military honors.
He is survived by his wife, Clayceail; three daughters, Teresa Nelson of Van Buren, Kay Greenhaw of Springdale and Tonda Bolton of Alma; four sons, Mike Brown of Van Buren, Gary Brown of Alma, Martin Brown of Ozark and Kenny Brown of Fort Smith; 16 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Brown, Brett and Chad Nelson, Gary and Jason Brown, Wes Nash and Matthew and Jordan Bolton.
