MRS. WILLIAM HUSTED
Nancy Ann Davis, daughter of Lloyd Riley and Katherine Margaret Davis, was born April 9, 1883, in Appanoose county, Iowa and passed away at the nursing home in Centerville, March 4, 1952, at the age of 68 years, 11 months and 5 days.
She was united in marriage to William Homer Husted June 25, 1902. He preceded her in death Jan. 13, 1930. To this union nine children were born, all of whom survive: Orval Husted, Andalusia, Ill.; Mrs. Bertha Head, Promise City; Lloy Husted, Unionville, Mo.; Hallie Husted, Confidence; Mrs. Floy Hickle, Rock Island, Ill.; Mrs. Leta Brown, Seymour; Richard Husted, Numa; Mrs. Olive Simmons; and Mrs. Opal McCaulley, Ottumwa.
She is also survived by one brother, F. L. Davis, of Promise City, 20 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
She lived her entire life in Wayne and Appanoose counties.
Funeral services were held March 6 at the Church of Christ in Confidence at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Mr. Turner of Mystic conducted the service and music was furnished by the Confidence quartette, accompanied by Mrs. Homer Frame.
Pallbearers were nephews and grandsons. Interment was in the Confidence cemetery.
