Plympton, Donald G. born Sept. 19, 1936 passed away in his home December 5, 2012.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Helen Plympton, sister, Pat Carpenter, and brother Foster Plympton.

He is survived by wife, Charlotte Hall-Plympton, of Springfield, Tennessee, two sisters, Vivian Sickafoose of new Philidelphia, Ohio and Jean Hummel of Canton, Ohio, three daughters, Debdie Hawk of Canton, Ohio, Shelley, Dickerson, Lisa Brokaw, and one son, Donnie Plympton, all of Tampa, Florida.

He is also survived by two stepsons, William Heighton, of Massilon, Ohio, and Douglas Heighton, of Springfield, Tennessee.

His legacy also includes fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville, Ohio. Services are Friday December 14, 2012, with visitation from 2:00-6:00 PM and a memorial service following at 6:00 PM with Pastor Vernon Hostetler officiating. A graveside committal service will be held Saturday December 15, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Peace Cemetery in Hartville.

A second event will be held at the Grace Baptist Church in Springfield, Tennessee, Thursday December 20, 2012, with visitation from 2:00-6:00 PM with a memorial service following at 6:00 PM with Pastor Steve Freeman officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the American Lung Association.
