Austin Levi Teaff (1879-1960), 80, 309 N. 3rd St., died in a Gainesville hospital yesterday after a long illness.
He had been a resident of Palatka since 1912, after coming from Texas. He owned the Teaff Furniture Co. here for several years.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Georgia O. Teaff; two sisters, Mrs. J. H. (Aminee Vada) Lanier, Bakersfield, Calif., and Mrs. V. S. (Roxie Pearl) Cassel, Littlefield, Texas, and a brother, Ernest E., Knox City, Texas.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Johnson-David Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Hansen, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill East Cemetery. (Palatka Daily News Obituary dtd Monday, 12 Sep 1960.)
