Wade was my paternal grandfather. He was the son of Theodore A. Streeter from Port Clinton, Ohio and Windham, Ohio and Henrietta E. Ramsdell/Riggle from Bloomingville, Ohio and Windham, Ohio. He was born on his parent's sixth wedding anniversary. He was a longtime resident of Windham, Ohio, Fremont, Ohio, and Port Clinton, Ohio. He served our country in World War II in France and Africa. He worked for the former Celotex Corporation in Port Clinton, Ohio for 43 years. He was well-known in Port Clinton. The land that is now East Harbor State Park in Marblehead, Ohio was once owned by some relatives of his mother around the time of the War of 1812.
