Funeral Services Held for Bertha Aubushon
Funeral services were conducted on Friday afternoon from the First Methodist church for Miss Bertha Mae Aubushon. The Pastor of the church, Rev. Eugene Golay, conducted the service. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Mountford sang, accompanied by Mrs. N.B. Bush, at the piano. Interment was made in the city cemetery.

Bertha Mae, daughter of Daisie M. and Louis A. Aubushon, was born August 14, 1901, near Red Cloud, just over the line in Kansas. She departed this life at the home in Red Cloud, January 24, 1945, at the age of 43 y 5 m and 9 d.

In 1907 she moved with her parents to a farm on Penny Creek, where they resided until 1930, when they returned to Kansas. Her father preceeded her in death in 1935. Last fall she and her mother came to live in town.

Since the Christmas holidays she had been quite ill with sinus infection, but her sudden passing came as a distinct shock to her loved ones and friends.

Miss Aubushon was a woman of fine Christian ideals and warm friendliness. All of those who knew her will remember her cheery smile and happy disposition.

She leaves to mourn, her mother; three brothers, Lester and LeRoy of Red Cloud and Clifford of Phillipsburg, Kansas; a niece, Daisie Mae Aubushon; three nephews, Carold, Milton, and Charles Aubushon and many other relatives and friends. "Though my feet be worn and weary, Where the Shepherd leads I'll go. Though the mountain side be dreary, Where the Shepherd, leads I'll go. "Hark, His voice is gently calling, On my ears its strains are falling, Though the gloom may be appalling, Where the Shepherd leads I'll go." Jan. 29,1945

Doctor's Notes:
Bertha died of Apoplexy or a Stroke
