Frank N. Fox, age 83, of Xenia, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012 at his residence. He was born February 25, 1929 in Xenia, the son of Edward and Elsie (Buckles) Fox.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Ruby Fox; a daughter: Theresa May Fox; and 8 brothers and sisters: Neal Fox; Dean Fox; Donald Fox; Edward Fox; Marion Fox; Robert Fox; Hazel Monroe and Eleanor Stewart.
He is survived by his children: Gloria (Preston) White of Xenia; Linda Fleming of Sabina; James N. (Johnda) Fox of Bainbridge, OH; and David M. (Sherri) Fox of Jamestown; brothers: Gerald (Charlotte) Fox of Xenia and William (Gladys) Fox of AZ; sister: Janet Shaffer of Florida; 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Frank retired from WA Hammond Drierite Co. in Xenia. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening, was a Kentucky Colonel, and Civil War enthusiast. He was a devoted family man, and especially enjoyed his grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held 1:30 PM Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at the McColaugh Funeral Home, Inc. 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia, with his grandson, Rev. Nathan White officiating. Frank will be laid to rest at Byron Cemetery.
