She was with her parents in Hannibal in 1910 and in South Dakota in 1915.
She married Oswald W. Shields around 1919. In 1920 they were with his parents in Quincy, Illinois.
In 1930 and 1940 they were farming in Prairieville Township, Missouri, in the latter year living in Eolia. They had a daughter. Dorothy died there in 1973 and was buried in Saint Johns Episcopal Church Cemetery (as were her parents and later her husband).
