Paul E. Campbell

GALION - Paul E. Campbell, 78, of 315 Westgate Drive died Tuesday.

Mr. Campbell was born Dec. 8, 1915, in Geneva on the Lake to Fred and Louise Wervey Campbell.

He was retired from ITT North Electric Power Equipment Co. He was a member of the Central Ohio Traffic Club, Peace Lutheran Church, Elks Lodge 1191 and the Galion Country Club.

A former member of the Galion City Council, he served on the building committee at his church and was a partner in C&C Lawn Care.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret E. Hoffman Campbell, whom he married Dec. 8, 1938; a son and daughter-in-law, Jeff L. and RuthAnn Campbell of Galion; a daughter and son-in-law, Paula J. and Victor Trapp of Streetsboro; five grandson, Timothy Alan Campbell, Christopher Lynn and wife Stacy Campbell, William Todd Studly, Darren Troy Studly and Christian Tyler Studly; a great-granddaughter, Caitlynn Rae Ann Campbell; two step-granddaughters, Laura and husband Ernie Zojac and Gina Trapp; and three step-great-grandsons, Nicholas, Matthew and Christopher Zajac.

Calling hours are today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, where Elks services will be held at 7. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Crestline.

Memorial contributions may be made to Peace Lutheran Church.
