"Piedmont, W.Va.--Roberta E. "Bobbi" James, 74, formerly of Piedmont, died at Potomac Valley Hospital in Keyser, W.Va. on Tuesday July 12, 2011.
She had resided at Moran Manor Nursing Home in Westernport, for the past 19 years.
She was born in Piedmont, on Aug. 1, 1936 and was the daughter of the late William E. James and Mary E. (Gill) James. She was preceded in death by one brother, Francis (Buddy) James.
Bobbi was a member of Saint Peter's Catholic Church in Westernport. She is survived by her sisters, Adelaide Whiteman of Hagerstown, Margaret Wynn of Marietta, Ga., Eloise Bryan of Birmingham, Ala.; and a brother, Anthony (Pingy) James of Columbia Station, Ohio. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Fredlock Funeral Home in Piedmont, on Monday, July 18, 2011 from noon until 1 p.m. A funeral service will held at 1 p.m. with Deacon Fred Passauer officiating. Interment will follow in Saint Peter's Cemetery, Westernport. Memorials for Roberta can be directed to Saint Peter's Catholic Church, 127 Church St. Westernport, MD 21562 for the building fund."
