Services for Mrs. Jennie ALFORD who died at her home in Friendship Sunday were held Monday at the Church of Christ, burial in Sudbury Cemetery.

She was 71.

She leaves one son, A. E. ALFORD of Friendship; four brothers. Sam CARMEN, John CARMEN, Bob CARMEN and Vernon CARMEN, all of Friendship; six sisters, Mrs. Frank CLARK, Mrs. Lucy WATSON, Mrs. P. R. VERNON and Mrs. Tom BEAVER, all of Friendship and Mrs. S. D. SEWELL of Bradenton, Fla., and Mrs. Lula ALLISON, of Chicago.

Jennie Carman Alford was the daughter of James W. & N. J. Carman.

She married 8 May 1898 in Dyer Co., TN, to Coach Alford.
